President

Ramon Escobar

Ramon EscobarMy name is Ramon Escobar, and I am a second-year student here at BRCC enrolled in the Business A.S program. I am originally from Honduras, a small country in the heart of Central America. However, most of my family lives in Texas, which is where you will find me if I am not in Baton Rouge.

When I am not in school or at work, you can find me at the gym, playing soccer, or golfing. These activities have always been a big part of my life, and they help me maintain a healthy balance between my academic and personal pursuits.

Once my chapter is done here at BRCC, I plan to transfer to Louisiana State University to pursue my Finance undergraduate degree. I am passionate about finance and believe it's the path to a successful and fulfilling career. My time at BRCC has laid a strong foundation for this journey, and I'm excited about what the future holds.

I have previously served a term in the Student Government Association as a Senator, and I am currently the acting President of SGA at BRCC. In these roles, my goal is to get students more involved with what SGA truly does and keep them in the loop for events and fun activities that most are unaware of. There is plenty of work to do this semester, and I couldn't be more excited to interact with the fellow student body.
