The Office for Institutional Advancement engages in activities to further the mission of Baton Rouge Community College. Institutional Advancement staff provide support, expertise, and leadership to:
- Secure private and public financial resources for support of the annual fund, special projects, scholarships, and other mission initiatives and priorities;
- Properly steward and appropriately recognize our supporters;
- Increase awareness of our unique brand;
- Serve as a resource in providing information to the campus community; and
- Foster creative and quality communications, internally and externally, to keep stakeholders accurately informed about institutional achievements and our progress toward educational excellence!
Our department performs a broad range of functions that provide the support for institutional collaboration as well as developing lasting relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Institutional Advancement departments include the BRCC Foundation, Events Management, Public Relations, Grant Resources, Creative Services, and Web Services.
The Office of Institutional Advancement is vested with the responsibility of raising the visibility of, cultivating meaningful partnerships for, and securing financial resources to support the mission of Baton Rouge Community College.
