Title IX and Sexual Misconduct

EDUCATION AMENDMENTS OF 1972

Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is committed to providing a safe learning and working environment that encourages integrity and mutual respect.  The College is dedicated to providing an environment that is free of discrimination of any kind on the basis of sex and sexual misconduct, which includes sex discrimination, sexual harassment, dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and retaliation.

In accordance with Title IX and other applicable law, BRCC prohibits sex discrimination and sexual misconduct.  BRCC will take appropriate action to prevent, correct, and discipline behavior that violates BRCC’s Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy No. 6-602.  This policy applies to all students, employees, vendors and all other individuals conducting business with BRCC, without regard to sexual orientation, gender identify, and/or gender expression.
