Federal Pell Grant
A non-repayable, federally funded program for undergraduate students pursuing a first bachelor's degree. Awards vary in amount each year and are based on financial need and hours of enrollment. The Pell Grant is awarded based on full-time status but will be adjusted and disbursed based on actual hours enrolled. 

*Important Pell Grant changes*

Effective 2012-2013,  no student will be eligible to receive more than 12 semesters or its equivalency of Federal Pell Grant. The Pell Lifetime Eligibility Usage for qualifying, undergraduate students is 600%.

Effective 2017-2018, eligible students are able to receive up to 150% of the Federal Pell Grant Scheduled Award for an award year. To be eligible for the additional Pell grant funds, the student must be otherwise eligible to receive Pell Grand funds for the payment period and must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours), in accordance with 34 CFR 668.2(b), in the payment period(s) for which the student receives the additional Pell Grant funds in excess of 100 percent of the student's Pell Grant Scheduled Award.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
A non-repayable, federally funded, university-based program for undergraduate students pursuing a first bachelor's degree. Priority consideration is given to early applicants who are Pell eligible, demonstrate the most financial need, and have the lowest Expected Family Contribution (EFC) on the Student Aid Report.
