Mentoring Program
The BRCC mentoring program was activated in 2013 with a focus on first-time full-time instructors. New faculty hires are paired with experienced mentors within their division. The mentoring process extends the entire first academic year and is built to provide comprehensive support. Mentees and mentors participate in an active community and receive special training and additional resources from the CTLE specific to fostering collegiality.

New Faculty Orientation
The new faculty orientation occurs each year during convocation week in the fall semester. New hires participate in a half-day orientation experience designed to provide the basics on all things teaching and learning.
