CLRP 1105 Non-Structural Damage Course description: 5hrs
Identifies types of hardware and provides an overview of their uses during the repair process. Covers methods for removing damaged and undamaged fasteners as well as thread restoration and installation. Explains attachment and removal methods for weather-stripping, tools for pinstripes, removal and replacement of interior and exterior parts. Identifies adhesive bonding materials and explains differences between adhesive and cohesive failure as well as a basic knowledge of steel Gas Metal Arc (GMA) welding. This course requires a onetime fee for I-CAR curriculum access, a onetime testing fee, and a lab fee.

CLRP 2204 Paint and Refinish Course description: 4hrs
Covers basic concepts of color theory as well as metallic, pearl and tri-coat effects, sun gun techniques, matte finishes, color matching tools and color variance decks. Includes color maps, electronic paint formulation systems, and techniques to make spray out panels for color evaluation and tri-coat finishes. Other techniques also include final sanding, masking, color mixing, and tinting, spray booth operations, and applying primers, sealers, and clear coats. This course requires a onetime fee for I-CAR curriculum access, a onetime certification fee, and a lab fee.
