NCCER - Electrical Level 2
Electricians install electrical systems in structures; they install wiring and other electrical components, such as circuit breaker panels, switches, and light fixtures, and they follow blueprints, the National Electrical Code® and state and local codes. This course includes both lecture and hands-on training and serves as the second of four levels in a series of courses. Students will learn topics such as motors; electric lighting; conduit bending; pull and junction boxes; conductor installations; cable tray layout; conductor terminations and splices; grounding and bonding; circuit breakers and fuses; and control systems.
