Project Controls Program

This course has been developed to meet the need on Construction, Maintenance, Capital Projects, and Shutdown Project Management Controls. It is made up of three parts: Industrial Estimating, Planning/Scheduling, and Cost Control with the application of these using the Primavera P6 software. There are two goals for these courses: 1. To be able to read and understand estimates, schedules (including critical path resource loaded schedules), and cost control documents, and 2. To have the basic skills and knowledge to create and monitor project control documents. This course utilizes computer-based software and a textbook to teach the principles of estimating. Topics include: cost control, elements of material, labor, and equipment, and cost analysis. Learn how to navigate the Primavera 6.0 interface to create detailed schedules with the industrial standard in scheduling. This is a great refresher course for those who learned earlier version of the software.
