Remote Accuplacer Placement Testing
Remote Accuplacer testing is also available using a Zoom Meeting proctoring option. Once you have registered to test (Schedule Your Test), you will have a voucher generated for you by the Testing Center staff and will receive an email with the details to join the Zoom Meeting for your scheduled date and time. Please be sure to select Zoom Proctored Accuplacer Exam when registering. If you have questions, please email Director of Testing and Assessment Clifton Fox.
The Accuplacer exam is also available for remote testing via Proctortrack if you are not able to find a time spot available with us or a time that works for your schedule. Proctortrack charges a $15 testing fee that you will need to pay to them when scheduling your exam. If you would like to take your exam via Proctortrack, please follow the steps below to register to take your exam.
Email email@example.com to have a remote testing voucher created. Please email us and make the subject Proctortrack Accuplacer Testing followed by your first and last name. Please include the following information in the body of your email.
- First name
- Last name
- LoLA Number
- Date of Birth
- Sections of exam needed
Once you have provided us with the information, we will be able to generate a voucher for you and you will receive an email with the voucher information and your next steps to register with Proctortrack.
Students With Accommodated Testing Needs
This notice is for students who have received an accommodation letter from the Office of Disability and Counseling Services(firstname.lastname@example.org). Accommodated Testing can be provided remotely by your instructor or in person via an appointment with the Testing Center located at the Mid-City Campus. However, space is limited in the Testing Center. Please be sure to coordinate with your instructor on your preferred method, remote or in person.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The Testing Center at the Mid City Campus is located in Room 160 of the Magnolia Building. Check in at the Intake Desk as you enter for testing instructions.
Students must show proof of their fee payment when checking in for any paid tests
(We recommend printing your confirmation email that is sent after payment is complete)
- BRCC Students retaking part of the Accuplacer Placement Test- $10 for one part, $20 for two parts and $30 for the full test
- CLEP, DSST - $30
NOTE: You must pay any required fees before arriving to take the test. Click here to pay fees (if necessary). Please direct any questions to the BRCC Testing Center.
Students are strongly encouraged to schedule appointments for all tests at least 36 hours ahead of time using the online scheduler. If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please reschedule or cancel so that someone else may use that time slot.
Other Testing Available
- CLEP and DSST: These are credit by exam options. You may schedule by selecting CLEP or DSST on our scheduler. You must purchase your registration ticket through CLEP and pay a $30 Proctoring fee prior to your appointment.
- HiSET: This test allows you to earn your high school equivalency diploma and this free program is offered through the BRCC Work Ready U program. Please visit the HiSET website for information on enrolling in the program.
