Four Baton Rouge Community College faculty members have been named to Endowed Professorships for the 2022-23 Academic Year. Chancellor Willie E. Smith recognized the four faculty members during an evening reception on Thursday, Nov. 10.

BRCC Endowed professorships are conferred upon BRCC's most distinguished faculty who have exhibited excellence and devotion to educating students at Baton Rouge Community College. Each appointment is for a period of one year or as stipulated by the donor, and carries an annual salary supplement of $2,000 for related professional development including academically related travel, equipment, and supplies and/or student assistance.

The Endowed Professorship fund supports academic activities of the professorship position including, but not limited to, assistantships for graduate students in instruction and research, professional development, and/or equipment and materials.
