library study

The BRCC Library is here to support your success. Librarians are available to assist you both online and in person.

Our virtual and in-person library hours and the hours for the Mid-City Magnolia Library are Monday through Thursday 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Contacting the library is easy. We are available to answer your questions via email, chat, phone, and in person. Email us your questions at library@mybrcc.edu and chat with us by using the chat box to the lower left. Our phone number is 225-216-8555.

The library's electronic resources are on 24/7 and all are accessible on our homepage.  Look to the gray navigation bars on the left and find:

the catalog (which can show you e-books available online through the library)
the library's database list which gives you access to over 100 online databases
and our library guides (LibGuides)--short guides to the subjects and programs BRCC offers, e.g. English, Psychology, Welding, Machine Tool Technology, and much more!

Want to learn more about the library and its resources? Visit the library’s LibGuides page for research assistance, subject guides, and useful resources compiled by your friendly librarians. Know what we know - find it in LibGuides! You can also take a virtual tour of the library by clicking here.  Instructional videos are available to help you use the library and its resources.  If you don't see what you're looking for in the Library's online catalog, you may request materials be added to our collection.

Ever wonder what your friendly BRCC librarians have been doing lately?  Find out in our library blog!

You can always visit our comment box to let us know how we are doing. We also welcome comments or suggestions about how we can improve or enhance the library and its services.
