Welcome to The Baton Rouge Community College Career Center.

Career Services as part of Student Services and the Office of Advising, Counseling and Career Services provides comprehensive group and individual services to students and alumni that cover all aspects of developing academic and professional objectives as they pertain to career related issues.  The Career Center is conveniently located in the Bienvenue Student Center, housed adjacent to the Financial Aid Counselors offices.  We care about you and want to contribute your professional growth.

Our services include:

  • Choose a career or degree program
  • Confirm that your present choice suits your aptitude, interests, preferences, and work related values
  • Explore careers in the current world of work
  • Develop or polish job seeking skills like resume critique or interviewing techniques
  • Find a job in the Baton Rouge area

These services are provided to both current students and BRCC alumni and include the use of career tests, a physical and digital library of materials, individual conferences, workshops and group presentations.   The Career Services Center also conducts an annual Career Fair which enables students to network and interview with prospective employers.
