Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) celebrated the grand opening of its new Digital Learning and Academic Support Center (DLASC).

BRCC student Lisa DiMaggio is the recipient of the 2023 Unsung Hero Award. DiMaggio received the award Thursday, Jan. 19, at the annual MLK Unity Celebration held on the campus of Southern University. DiMaggio was nominated by BRCC Professor Dr. Mary Miller.

ExxonMobil Baton Rouge presented two contributions to the Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) Foundation earlier this week.

Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) recently received a Gold Medallion Award from the National Council on Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR).

Victoria Breaux who’s a Criminal Justice major with plans to graduate, then continue her education at LSU. She’s preparing for her future here at BRCC and wants to be an Emergency Disaster Manager or Crisis Manager. 



PRO Louisiana funds training courses for occupations that are critical to the state's flood recovery and resilience efforts. The goal is to develop a skilled workforce to support flood risk reduction projects and build up Louisiana’s defense against future disasters.

Named after former Louisiana Governor Mike J. Foster, the MJ Foster Promise Program is a new $10.5 million annual state fund that will provide financial support for students to earn credentials that align to high-demand jobs in these growing industry sectors.
