studentsWelcome back to Baton Rouge Community College!

I greatly appreciate your continued commitment and dedication to your education at BRCC. I know the spring semester presented some challenges for all of us, but we are prepared to come back stronger than ever for Fall 2020. The BRCC team has been working diligently to identify best practices for delivering your Fall 2020 courses in the safest and most effective way possible. While many of you will continue to take courses through live and asynchronous online formats, our new protocols will allow some of you on-campus for hands-on courses, labs, and workforce training.

We are focused on your safety and well-being and have implemented a great deal of sanitization, screening, and protective measures to ensure this safety while on campus. This fall, we are offering general education courses through online synchronous (live instruction) and asynchronous (attend on your schedule) classes, while Technical Education and Nursing and Allied Health classes, along with some labs, will be offered through a hybrid design, where students will complete some coursework online and attend some face-to-face classes on campus in a sanitized environment, while practicing social distancing and wearing masks. Please review the Academic Calendar for important dates regarding your schedule, registration and payment details.

As we seek to remain diligent in the fight against COVID-19, I invite those of you returning to campus to review the safety protocols we are following to ensure the health and well-being of everyone on campus. Those of you returning to on-site programming should plan to arrive on campus with enough time to go through necessary screening measures upon your entry to any building onsite.

Please review the following information and understand that we at BRCC are here to make sure you have a safe, sanitized, and healthy educational workspace. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus.
