The Technical Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration provides specialized classroom instruction and practical shop experience to prepare students for employment in a variety of jobs in the field of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration. The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program prepares individuals to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain the operating condition of domestic, residential, and commercial heating air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

This program has three exit points, where students may obtain a Technical Competency Area Certificate in Helper I, a Certificate of Technical Studies in Helper II, and a Certificate of Technical Studies as a Domestic Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician. See the student's catalog of entry for more information.
