Baton Rouge Community College’s Technical Education Division is designed to continually evolve to meet the needs of industry and provide a pathway for students to succeed now and into tomorrow’s workforce.

From book-based studies to practical hands-on skill-based training in state-of-the-art labs and industry settings, the Technical Education Division prepares students to enter the workforce with the skills necessary to secure viable employment within their chosen fields.

The Division of Technical Education offers diplomas, degrees, and certificates in the following areas:

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Diploma, AAS Technical Studies)
Aviation Maintenance Technician (Certificate, AAS)
Cosmetology (Diploma)
Culinary Arts and Occupations (Diploma)
Drafting & Design Technology (Diploma, AAS Technical Studies)
Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technology (AAS)
Welding (Diploma, AAS Technical Studies)
