Liberal Arts Artwork

The Division of Liberal Arts offers a wide variety of programs for students interested in transferring to four-year colleges and universities in majors such as English, education, history, music, philosophy, studio art, and theatre. Additionally, the division helps prepare students who have a career focus in such fields as audio/music recording, early childhood education, filmaking, graphic design, or web design.

The Division of Liberal Arts houses two departments that play a crucial role in supporting many of the general education requirements across programs offered at Baton Rouge Community College. It also offers online, short-term workforce training courses intended to assist working professionals with up-skilling and rebooting their careers.
