Welcome to the Division of Business and Law

The Division of Business and Law is proud to be one of the most popular and highest-enrolled academic divisions at Baton Rouge Community College. 

Our division houses the Business Department which encompasses the disciplines of Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Economics, Finance and Management and the Law Department which encompasses the disciplines of Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology. 

The Division of Business and Law focuses on promoting student success, providing our diverse community with educational opportunities, and transforming lives through engaged learning.

Our outstanding faculty provides students with the education and skills necessary to succeed in the business and law related fields, the high-growth, high-wage, high demand industry of construction, and prepares students for transfer to four-year institutions in business and law disciplines.
