Associate of Applied Science in Process Technology

The curriculum leading to the Associate of Applied Science in Process Technology has been developed in collaboration with the local industry. This program is a rigorous study of the common operating processes found in industrial plants and will prepare the student to enter the employment market as an entry-level process operator. The job market for this specialty career is exceptionally strong in the greater Baton Rouge area.

To be awarded this degree, the student must:

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or better in all credits used toward the degree
  • Earn a “C” or better in major courses and in English 101 and 102
