Creating Web Pages E106
Are you creative? Do you like using the Internet and other interactive media? Amaze your friends and family by creating web pages. See how easy and how much fun it can be! Learn the basics of Web page design to add informative examples in your classroom instruction.

Introduction to Electronic Learning E200
What is Distance Education and who takes these classes? What are the responsibilities of the instructor, the department, the school and the student? Learn about pedagogy and andragogy. This class will also discuss learning styles and outline what is involved in programming and online curriculum instruction.

Understanding Copyright Rules and Restrictions E301
Discussion will include the basic rights of copyright owners protected works by use of public domain, fair use and major exceptions to Academia in all types of formats. University Liability and infringement will be discussed. Participants will learn where to go to for help when making sure that copyright rules have not been breached.

Student Needs and Communication Management E304
This class discusses how to identify distance learners and prospective students. Answers questions on how distance learners can conduct business, such as admission and registration, and accessing the bookstore and the library. Discusses how academic services and advising should be handled. Discusses how to handle technical support services and discusses what the ground rules should be.


Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching MERLOT E-308

MERLOT is a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students, which provides links to online learning materials. This workshop will show participants how to maneuver the site and find interesting simulations to assist with their hybrid or online courses.

Course Management & Logistics E302
Discusses how to determine what information is needed for students. How do students gain access and who do they contact when there are technical issues? This course will also discuss how to orient students to your online classes and how to develop contingency plans.
