Mission: The Office of Information Technology will provide exemplary information technology-based services, in the most effective manner to facilitate the College mission with focus on management, teaching, learning, and community service provided through the Baton Rouge Community College.

To accomplish this mission we will:

• Provide technology support services to all areas of the college.
• Promote and facilitate the effective integration of technology into the basic mission of the through planning, programming, training, consulting, and other support activities.
• Develop, enhance, and manage the 's enterprise networks to provide high
  speed transparent, and highly functional connectivity among all information resources.
• Develop and maintain highly effective, reliable, secure, and innovative infomration systems to support academic, administrative and research functions.
• Promote new uses of information technology within the institution through the support for exploratory and innovative applications.

Lead and participate in the planning, designing, implementation, management, and operation of all information technology-based services.

Goals:

2. To develop faculty and staff competency in technology.
3. To enhance student achievement.
4. To promote effective and efficient use of technology by students faculty and staff.
5. To continue to expand and support network and technology infrastructure replacement.
