BRCC’s WorkReadyU program graduates 21 students

The WorkReadyU program at Baton Rouge Community College held a commencement ceremony on Dec. 6. The program graduated 21 students, of which 12 participated in the ceremony. The valedictorian is Balin St. Romain and the salutatorian is Markiee Griffin.

Fifty seven percent of the graduates have already earned college credit or are enrolled for Spring 2019 classes. 

Intake for our WRU program is completed on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at our Acadian Instructional Site, 3250 N. Acadian Thruway E., Baton Rouge. We offer daytime, evening, and online classes in #HiSET Prep, as well as Skills Gap classes for students who are not quite academically prepared for college. All classes are  free.
