Baton Rouge Community College will host the community friendly trick-or-treating event, Trunk or Treat, on Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will be held in the parking lot located near the Bienvenue Student Center on BRCC's Mid City campus, 201 Community College Drive. There will be music and giveaways for best costume and best decorated trunk at the Mid City location. Other BRCC locations will also host Trunk or Treat in their respective local communities from noon to 5 p.m. on Oct. 31. The other participating BRCC locations include the New Roads Site, 605 Hospital Road, New Roads; Jackson Site, 3337 Highway 10, Jackson; and Port Allen Site, 3233 Rosedale Road, Port Allen.
BRCC's student clubs and organizations in conjunction with the Student Government Association will host the decorated trunks filled with various candies to share with trick-or-treaters.
The purpose of the event is to bring the community onto BRCC's campuses as an opportunity for the college and its students to engage the community of which BRCC is a part.
