BRCC offering Saturday courses to provide working students more scheduling options

 Baton Rouge Community College offers many options for busy students to complete their studies, such as online, evening and Saturday courses. This fall semester, 12 credit courses will be available for Saturday schedules at the Mid City campus: Biology 1011 and 1013, Care and Development of Young Children 1110, College Success Skills 1023, Computer Science 1923, Engineering 1032, English 0091 and 1013, Mathematics 0097 and 0098, Music 1013, and Physical Science 1023. These classes meet for three hours and have either 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. start times. Enrollment for fall 2017 is ongoing and registration is open.

Saturday schedules seek to allow busy adults to earn their degrees or enhance their work skills without interrupting standard work schedules, especially when combined with eLearning and night classes. 

Fall classes begin on August 21.

For additional assistance, students may contact A special registration session, where staffers will be available to provide extensive hands-on assistance with admissions, financial aid and advising, will be held on Friday, Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Bienvenue Student Center on the Mid City campus.
