Baton Rouge Community College is hosting an Open House for all interested and prospective students on Tuesday, April 4 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the Magnolia Building on its Mid City campus, 201 Community College Drive. No registration or appointment is required, and anyone is welcomed to attend at any time during the Open House.
The Open House is an opportunity for all prospective students to learn about BRCC, its courses, certificate, degree and transfer programs, admissions process and financial aid.
Campus tours will be provided and Financial Aid representatives will be onsite to assist with completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) applications.
BRCC offers credit and non-credit courses, accredited programs, articulation agreements, and the ability to participate in certain courses online, or through flexible evening and weekend classes.
Available fields of study are Accounting, Aviation Maintenance, Automotive & Diesel Technology, Business, Business Technology, Computer Science, Construction Management, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Development, Emergency Management, Entertainment Technology, Graphic Arts, General Sciences, Liberal Arts LA Transfer Degrees (AA/AS), Nursing & Allied Health CNA / LPN / RN, Paralegal Studies Paramedic, Pre-Engineering, Process Technology, Sonography, Teaching, Veterinary Technology.
Industry-based certifications are available in AC/Refrigeration, Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Drafting & Design, Pharmacy Tech, Welding, Pipefitting Millwright, Electrical and Machinist.
