NEWS ROADS/ PORT ALLEN – Baton Rouge Community College at New Roads and Port Allen will each host an Open House for all interested and prospective students on Wednesday, July 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at their respective sites – 605 Hospital Road, New Roads and 3233 Rosedale Road, Port Allen. No registration or appointment is required, and anyone is welcomed to attend at any time during the Open House.
The Open House is an opportunity for all prospective students to learn about BRCC, its courses, certificate, degree and transfer programs, admissions process and financial aid. Attendees will receive information about admission, financial aid, course registration, and take a campus tours.
Registration for the fall semester is open. Classes begin August 21.
BRCC offers credit and non-credit courses, accredited programs, articulation agreements, and the ability to participate in certain courses online, or through flexible evening and weekend classes.
Available fields of study are Welding, Medical Assistant, Electrical, Welding and Additional Workforce Training Courses, Pharmacy Technician, Pipefitting, Mobile Crane Operator, Diesel Engine Repair, Heavy Equipment Operator and Additional Workforce Training courses.
