BRCC Art Program to Host Open House and Donor Reception on Friday, Oct. 28

Reillys to be recognized for generous donation to BRCC

BATON ROUGE, LA - The Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) Fine Art & Communications Department of the Liberal Arts Division will host an Open House event and donor reception on Friday, October 28 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the BRCC Frazier Art Annex, 555 Julia St. The event is free and open to the public. 

The theme of the Open House is "Follow Me To Frazier," and it is an opportunity for current students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and local creative art professionals to learn more about BRCC's Art Program.

During the Open House and reception, BRCC will also recognize donors Winifred and Kevin Reilly who recently gave a generous donation to the program.

Attendees can look forward to tours of the Frazier Art Annex studios, refreshments, art-making demonstrations, and live music performed by Recording Studio Ensemble (RSE)--BRCC Music students: Francisco Matos on violin, Jose Botello on hand drums and percussion, Nyla Hall with vocals, and Prof. Charles Brooks on keyboard.
