Ms. Arboneaux has 17 years of Human Resources generalist experience including the development of HR process and policies, compliance, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and training. She has experience in various industries including retail, health care, and higher education.
Ms. Arboneaux comes to BRCC from the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where she served as the Assistant Director of Compensation and Benefits and managed insurance plans, state and supplemental retirement plans, leave plans, and compensation assessments and recommendations for classified (Civil Service) staff, unclassified staff, and faculty. Prior to her position with LSU, she was Director of Human Resources at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA, where she was responsible for working with the various levels of management in the areas of compliance, benefits, employment, employee relations, compensation, strategic management, and more.
Ms. Arboneaux has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from LSU in Baton Rouge and an MBA with distinction from Nicholls State University. She will graduate with a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor & Employment Law (MJ-LEL) from Tulane Law School in Spring 2019.
Lastly, Ms. Arboneaux is a Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP) and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). She is a member of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the local chapter (NOLA SHRM). She has also been a Notary Public since 2015.
