The Baton Rouge Community College Foundation, Inc. (BRCC Foundation) is a non-profit corporation organized April 16, 1998, existing and operating for the purpose of securing recurring philanthropic support to advance, promote, and otherwise benefit the mission of Baton Rouge Community College, its faculty, and its students. The BRCC Foundation is governed by a board of trustees and is funded entirely with private resources.
The Foundation solicits private, voluntary contributions to advance and support the programs and facilities of BRCC; manages investments; and serves as steward for funds and other contributed assets. Our vision is to exemplify the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and transparency.
The BRCC Foundation provides direct financial support for Baton Rouge Community College by expending resources to fund financial assistance for students, including scholarships; providing professional development opportunities and programmatic grants awards for faculty; and local, federal, or private appropriations and/or grants for research, public outreach, cultural enhancement, and other BRCC mission-focused initiatives.
