More than 100 students graduate from BRCC's ACE Program Print E-mail

It was a packed house Friday, as family, friends, and love ones gathered at Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) to celebrate graduates of the Accelerated Career Education (ACE) Program.

More than 100 students walked across the main stage of the Magnolia Theater to receive credentials in the following programs: Jobs for Americas Graduates (JAG), and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) Grant Program.

The ACE Program is a collaboration of the Greater Baton Rouge Literacy Coalition and BRCC, offering adult students the opportunity to earn a high school equivalency, college-level credit, and industry recognized credentials. The program is part of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System's participation in a national initiative called Accelerating Opportunity.
