|Testing Centers at BRCC|
Testing is currently available daily at the Mid City campus. NEW: The Testing Center has set up a check-in desk on the first floor of the Magnolia Building near Advising and Counseling. Look for the sign when you walk in. This check-in was set up in order to keep the testing area as quiet and distraction free as possible.
The Testing Center at the Mid City campus is located in Room 160 of the Magnolia Building. COMPASS Testing and Proctored testing is available at the Mid City campus. Students wishing to schedule a testing appointment should click here. Students should set aside 2 to 2.5 hours to complete the COMPASS test. Time permitted for proctored tests is determined by the instructor.
During the spring 2014 semester, BRCC's Mid City Testing Center will be open the following hours (through May 16, 2014):
In order to sit for the COMPASS Test, students must arrive in the Testing Center (with fees already paid) by:
4:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
2:30 pm Thursday, Friday
9:30 am Saturdays
Spring 2014 Semester Closures
The Testing Center will be closed on the following dates during the spring semester.
Compass testing will be offered at other BRCC campuses and sites throughout the semester. The dates and locations for the spring 2014 semester are listed below. The hours for these dates are 9 am to 5 pm. Students are accepted on a walk-in basis and should arrive by 2:30 pm.

BRCC faculty who wish to have their students take a make-up test should have their students schedule an appointment using the online scheduler. You will need to deliver the assessment instrument (test, etc.) to a Testing Center staff member with completion instructions. The Testing Center is not to be used to have entire classes of students take tests. You should contact the Registrar for an appropriate room if you are looking to administer computer testing.
