    Baton Rouge Community College's tuition and fees are among the most affordable in the state. All tuition and fees must be paid in full on or before the payment deadline listed in the Academic Calendar. Payments not received in the Bursar's Office by specified due dates may result in students being purged from registered class. A student is considered officially registered once tuition and fees are paid in full and all required admission documents have been submitted to the Office of Enrollment Services. • Refunds

    Refunds are the funds a student receives after tuition, mandatory fees and any other charges have been paid in full. All refunds are term-based and for a refund to occur the total payments for the term must exceed the total charges for the same term, including any adjustments for waivers. The payments can come from various sources, such as financial aid, cash, check, credit/debit cards, scholarships, fellowships, or third-party sponsors. A refund can only occur if a payment has been made.

    Students can monitor their refunds by accessing their LOLA account and setting up alerts through their Higher One account.
    All refunds will be delivered through the Higher One refund system. Every new enrolled student will receive a BRCC MasterCard Debit card in the mail. The card is not a credit card. Students will need to activate the BRCC Debit card and choose how they want their refund delivered. Students may choose from two options:

    Refund deposited directly to the BRCC MasterCard Debit card;
    Refund deposited to another bank account of the student’s choice;

    It is the student’s responsibility to verify that his or her correct address is on file with the college.
    To learn more about Higher One students may visit: https://brccdebitcard.higheroneaccount.com/

    100% Refunds
    Students who formally drop from a course or withdraw from the college before the scheduled semester or 7 week session begins are entitled to a 100% refund of tuition and fees.

    Less Than 100% Refunds
    Students who formally withdraw from courses during the scheduled 75% - 50% refundable period will be refunded a calculated percentage of tuition and refundable fees.
