Off Campus Access

The BRCC Library's online databases can be accessed off-campus with your BRCC Library User ID number and your library PIN.

UPDATE 2/4/2013:

Faculty, staff, and students should now log in to the databases with their new campus ID number (L, N, H, or new Bnumber, which is at the top of each person's schedule in LoLA) as their user ID and their 8 digit birthdate (mmddyyyy, i.e. 01021994) as their PIN. The letter (L, N, etc.) in the user ID must be capitalized.

If you do not know your Library PIN, you can retrieve it by:

  • Going to the Library’s Online Catalog
  • Click on and clicking on ‘My Account’ – at the top of the page
  • Then click ‘I Forgot my PIN’
  • After entering your Library User ID number an email will be sent to your BRCC email with your PIN
  • You may change your PIN by clicking ‘User PIN Change’ from the 'My Account' screen.

If you are unable to access the online databases from home, we may need to update your library account information. To verify the status of your Library privileges, please call (225) 216-8555 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
