BRCC Presents Jazz at the Fountain BRCC opens Performing Arts Series with "Jazz @ the Fountain"
Baton Rouge, LA –BRCC will kick off its anticipated 2011-2012 Performing Arts Season with the return of “Jazz @ the Fountain” on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 6 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public.
The event is presented by BRCC’s Jazz Ensemble, featuring students and faculty from the college’s music program, including local jazz legend and BRCC Associate Professor of Music Eric Baskin.
“Jazz @ the Fountain” will take place at its traditional location at the fountain in the center of BRCC’s campus. Free parking will be available at the North
Parking Garage. Although limited seating is provided, the BRCC Jazz Ensemble encourages spectators to bring their own seating – or even just a comfortable blanket – and relax to “music under the stars.”
The long awaited 2011-2012 Performing Arts Season will be revealed at this event. So don't miss out!
