Environmental Management Systems Concentration
The Associate of Science in General Science (AS in General Science)

The Environmental Management Systems Concentration allows BRCC students an opportunity to transfer to environmental management systems programs offered by baccalaureate degree-granting institutions. The concentration provides students with a foundation for further study of complex environmental issues in environmental management systems specialty areas such as environmental analysis and risk management, policy analysis, and resource management.

To receive this degree, the student must:

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or better in all credits that are to be used towards the degree(transfer will require a higher cumulative GPA);
  • · Earn a “C” or better in all natural science and mathematics courses;
  • · Take at least 12 hours at the 200 level;
  • · Complete the coursework listed below; and
  • · Earn 12 of the final 15 credits at BRCC.
