The Certificate in General Education provides a strong initial grounding in liberal education. Upon completion, students are prepared to successfully meet transfer requirements at most four-year universities and have the knowledge and skills frequently identified by employers as being desirable qualities in an employee. The certificate program may be taken by students who are pursuing a baccalaureate or associate degrees and by students who do not intend to obtain a more advanced degree. To receive this certificate, the student must: - have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or better in all credits used toward the certificate;
- earn a “C” or better in English 101 and 102; and
- complete the course work listed below.
