The Associate of Applied Science in Accounting Technology (AAS) provides the knowledge and skills necessary for career-entry in various fields of accounting, and provide incumbent workers with an avenue for potential advancement. To receive this degree, the student must:
- have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or better in all credits to be used towards the degree;
- earn a “C” or better in major courses, in ENGL 101 and ENGL 102, in approved accounting-related electives, and in courses that are prerequisites of other courses;
- take at least 12 hours at the 200 level; and
- complete the coursework listed below.
