Question:c I want a book that the Magnolia Library does not own. What can I do?

Answer:

We do have InterLibrary Loan (ILL) capabilities, which allow us to borrow books for you from another library. Contact the Circulation Desk regarding current ILL policies. You will receive notification when the material arrives, but this process takes an average of 8 to 10 working days.

Keep in mind that there are many libraries in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. It may best serve your needs to check into these other libraries, and see if the book you want is available. WorldCat can help you locate those libraries. If you do choose to use books from other libraries, they may have to be used on-site, depending on their borrowing policies.
