BRCC Foundation Grants Alert

Baton Rouge Community College depends heavily upon securing grant monies to fund its current operations and insure its future expansion needs. The following is an alphabetical listing of grants, in which you may be interested. Please note the deadline for submitting RFPs. For more information, please visit the office of external resources, located in the Governors Building on the second floor for more information.

BRCC’s key priorities require support beyond the current available resources. Therefore, each department and unit is encouraged to aggressively solicit grant monies. Colleges depend on several sources of funding. Federal, state, and local grants from foundations, corporations, religious entities, and others comprise nearly 54% of the funding for higher education. Of the total amount of $23.9 billion given to higher education, only 2% was allocated to community colleges.
