Financial Aid

Baton Rouge Community College aims to help those students with proven need. A student’s need is calculated by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA can be filled out online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

Please note:
Students should list BRCC’s school code 0 3 7 3 0 3 when filing the FAFSA. Failure to apply will disqualify you from most BRCC s scholarships. The priority deadline for the FAFSA is April 15th. The BRCC scholarship deadline is June 1 for the fall semester and October 15 for the spring semester, unless otherwise noted.

Requirements: Documented Financial Need by self-identification through the FAFSA and the BRCC Scholarship application. A cumulative 2.0 grade point average for Continuing students. Each scholarship has its own requirements and criteria.
