Financial Aid

In order to receive federal financial aid, a student must meet one of the following categories:

  • Have earned a high school diploma or GED certificate or Have successfully completed a two-year program that is acceptable for full credit toward a bachelor's degree or
  • Have successfully passed an Ability-to-Benefit test.
A student who has neither a high school diploma nor its equialent is referred to as Ability-to Benefit. The students must score a minimum of (25) Prealgebra/Numerical, (62) Reading, and (32) Writing on the COMPASS Subtests to be considered for Federal Assistance.
