Mission Statement for Accounting and Finance
The mission
of the Office of Accounting and Finance is to develop
and implement practices in accordance with the highest
standards of fiscal and administrative management.
The Office of Accounting and Finance strives to provide
a safe physical environment that is conducive to intellectual
growth and development.
The organization
of the Office of Accounting and Finance is consistent
with the purpose of the institution, the size of the
institution, and the volume of transactions of a business
or financial nature. All business and financial functions
of the institution are centralized under the chief
business officer (Vice Chancellor for Administration
and Finance) reporting to the chief executive officer
(Chancellor).
The chief
business officer (Vice Chancellor of Administration
and Finance) will have experience or training in handling
educational business affairs sufficient to enable
the Office of Accounting and Finance to serve the
educational goals of the institution and assist in
furthering its stated purpose.
